Bother your council members!
Tell your council members that they are supposed to work for you. They are supposed to protect the interests and well being of their constituents, and that their constituents have a problem. We have linked two templates below, one to request a zoning text amendment to include live music in the definition of agritourism, and one to request a reformation of the Department Of Permitting Services. Use your voice!
Vote! Vote! Vote!
Maryland's primary elections are happening THIS YEAR. That means you can vote for individuals that support your interests. Montgomery County residents, your government is failing you, so do something about it. You see this on nationwide scales everyday but you don’t always see how it affects your day to day life. Take initiative and start creating the change you want to see. Go to the polls. Vote for the people who support your goals and wellbeing. Elections are coming up in June, the time to change is NOW.
Maryland's Primary Elections will be held Thursday, June 11, 2026 through
Thursday, June 18, 2026. Regular elections will be held
Election Day is June 23rd, 2026.
Do note that in the state of Maryland, only registered Democrats or Republicans can vote in primary elections. Independents cannot vote in the primaries in June.
